A Treasure Box

Yew Chung ECE Campus at 29 Kent Road, Kowloon Tong, Hong Kong | year: 2020 | status: built | team: Annette Chu, Timothy Cheung, Sylvia Yeung and Yan Wu | photo credits: Monique Lai, the Loft Works Studio

Seeing the existing building as a treasure box, Eureka introduced an experimental loop to create a new adventurous experience. Children at Yew Chung ECE Campus circle around the enclosure, unlocking the box through different portals in this playful, imaginative early childhood environment designed to ignite movement, wonder and daily exploration.

This honest, curiosity-driven approach — with its emphasis on creative spatial detailing — forms the foundation for our ongoing public and community work while keeping our young studio spirit alive with fresh ideas.
